

Robert Ray “Rick” Stevens Jr., age 74, of Tampa, Florida, passed away on Friday, March 27th. Born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Rick carried his southern roots with him throughout his life, shaping the warmth and character he shared with all who knew him.
Rick attended Miami Norland High School and went on to build a dedicated career as a Parts Manager in the automotive industry. Known for his strong work ethic and reliability, he earned the respect of colleagues and customers alike over many years of service.
Outside of work, Rick embraced life with passion and enthusiasm. As a teenager, he loved surfing in Miami, Florida, where he found joy in the ocean and the thrill of the waves. He was an avid rider of his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, cherishing the freedom of the open road. Rick also enjoyed playing golf and was a devoted fan of University of Tennessee football and the Miami Dolphins, rarely missing an opportunity to cheer on his teams.
Rick was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Dura Lewine “Pat” Stevens and Robert Ray Stevens.
He is survived by his spouse, Brenda Jo Stevens; his sons, Tripp Stevens and Brent Stevens; daughters-in-law, Lindsey Stevens and Cristi Stevens; and his cherished grandchildren, Bridgette Stevens, Braden Stevens, Riley Stevens, and Emrie Stevens. He is also survived by his brothers, Randy Stevens and Scott Stevens; his sister-in-law, Lori Stevens; his nephew, Joshua Stevens; and his niece, Kristen Parker. Rick’s family was the center of his world, and he took great pride in each of them.
A memorial service will be held in his home state of Tennessee, with the date and time to be announced.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Rick’s memory to Tunnel to Towers Foundation, The Gary Sinise Foundation, or The Wingman Foundation.
Rick will be remembered for his love of family, his adventurous spirit, and the lasting impact he made on those fortunate enough to know him.
