Sally May Weiss

Sally May Weiss, age 93, of Lutz, FL, formerly of Highland Park, IL passed away peacefully on August 4th, 2022, in Lutz, FL. Sally May was born in Chicago, IL to Sam and Lena Wilens on February 23, 1929. She went to Emmett Elementary, Austin High School, and MacMurray College. She was an avid reader, loved birds, and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Sally May is survived by her daughters, Lisa (Dean) Bille of Land O’ Lakes, FL and Harriet Weiss-Golde of Chicago, IL; Grandchildren, Chad Bille of Land O’ Lakes, FL, Emily (J. Matthew) Weaver of Land O’ Lakes, FL and Lilia (fiancé Tyler Opilka) Golde of Savoy, IL; great grandchildren, Ivy and Ian Weaver of Land O’ Lakes, FL; niece, Michele (Joseph) Goldina of Huntley, IL and many loving cousins and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Weiss; daughter Pamela Mamie Weiss; parents Sam and Lena Wilens; and siblings, Morrie Wilens and Ruth Kaplan.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 4th at 10am at Rosehill Cemetery in Chicago, IL.
