Sheila Marie McCaffrey

Sheila Marie McCaffrey, 76, passed away peacefully on April 30th, 2024, at her home in Land O’ Lakes, Florida. She was born on August 15th, 1947, in Ft. Benning, Georgia, to Don and Evelyn McCaffrey. Sheila attended Huntington Beach High School and spent most of her career in the legal profession prior to retirement.

Sheila was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She touched the lives of many with her wit, generosity, and love. Her kindness and love for her pets was limitless. She enjoyed spending time with family and filled her home with photos and memories; we knew she was always thinking of us. Sheila’s spirit and incredible strength will live on in our hearts forever and she will be deeply missed.

Sheila is survived by her children, Charlette (Mike) Nankovitch and David (Cindy) Witte, brother Michael McCaffrey, grandchildren Nick Nankovitch, Alex Nankovitch, Maddie Witte, and Lucas Witte. She was preceded in death by her parents Don and Evelyn McCaffrey, and her brother Donald McCaffrey.

A memorial service for Sheila will be held on Saturday, May 18th from 2-4 pm at the Blount & Curry, Carrollwood Funeral Home, 3207 W. Bearss Ave, Tampa, FL 33618.

May she rest in peace knowing she was cherished and very much loved.
