SAVAGE, Sherman A, 84, of Tampa, peacefully passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on August 3, 2021. He was born to the late David Edward and Callie Evelyn Savage. Sherm proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. He retired from the United States Air Force as a Master Sergeant after 22 years of service. He enjoyed watching Nascar Racing and was an avid collector of trains. Sherm and his wife Colleen were co owners of the Grand Ole' Country Store on 40th Street in Tampa.
He is preceded in death by his brother David A Savage and grandson Austin Savage. Sherm is survived by Colleen, his beloved wife of 60 years, daughter Selina Lawson and Husband Richard, son Duane Savage, sister Gloria Lyons, grandchildren; Cherie Brooks, Ryan Lipp, Jarrika Lipp, Evan Savage, Nathan Savage, Tiffany Bioletti, Brittany Zessin, 11 great grandchildren, extended family and friends.
Family will receive friends at 10 am with a funeral service beginning at 11 am, Sunday, August 8, 2021 at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, 4207 E Lake Ave, Tampa, FL 33610.
