

Victor was born on July 22nd, 1952 to Victor and Florence “Sophie” Hruszczyk in Detroit Michigan. As a man of literature, he proudly graduated from the University of Michigan with a Master’s degree in Toxicology. After graduation he worked for St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor Michigan. He showed prowess by being a fundamental leader in the establishment of Warde Medical Laboratories, a reference laboratory providing high quality medical diagnostic services since 1985. It was during this endeavor where he met his soulmate Judy. They married in 1990 and remained in love for the last 33 years.
Victor and Judy went on to have 2 children, Adam and Aaron. Victor was a devoted father, committed to providing the best of opportunities for his family and the education of his children. He was a teacher of integrity, responsibility, compassion and honor. Victor’s lifelong passion was to advance healthcare. In the year 2000, he moved his family from Michigan to Florida after accepting a position at BayCare Health System as VP of Laboratory Services. For 20 years he was a supportive leader and pioneer in the advancement of laboratory healthcare. After achieving his many career goals Victor retired in 2020 leaving behind a trail of inspiration and motivation for others to follow. He will be missed by all who knew him.
The family requests that any donations be made to Suncoast Hospice Foundation or St. Elizabeth Mission Society in Victor’s honor.
A Visitation for Victor will be held Thursday, August 3, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM during which there will be a Rosary Service at Blount & Curry FH-Carrollwood, 3207 W Bearss Ave, Tampa, FL 33618
A Catholic Service will be held on Friday, August 4, 2023 at 10:00am at Blount & Curry FH-Carrollwood, 3207 W Bearss Ave, Tampa, FL 33618.
