

WILLIAMSON, Warren Gene, 67, of Tampa, was born on July 12, 1947 in Parkersburg, WV to Betty Ann Williamson and the late Warren Bowser. He went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 3, 2014. Warren served his country during the Vietnam War as a soldier in the US Army. He was a retired school teacher and realtor, a member of the VFW in Parkersburg, WV, member of Operation Helping Hands and HOG (Harley Owners Group). Warren enjoyed life and always lived it to the fullest. In addition to his birth father, Warren is preceded in death by his adopted father Eugene Williamson. He is survived by his loving wife Michelle Williamson nee Barr; mother, Betty Ann Williamson nee McCauley; his children, Christine Stevens and Peter Williamson; grandchildren, Tyler, Kayla and Lily and many wonderful and cherished friends. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 11, 2014 from the Carrollwood Chapel of Blount & Curry Funeral Home, 3207 W. Bearss Ave., Tampa, FL 33618. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM. Entombment with military honors will follow at Garden of Memories, 4207 E. Lake Ave., Tampa, FL 33610. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Warren’s name to the ALS Association Florida Chapter, 3242 Parkside Center Cir., Tampa, FL 33619. All arrangements are under the direction of Blount & Curry Funeral Home Carrollwood Chapel.
