

Billy was born on June 3, 1951, in Buffalo, New York, to Willard and Dolores Edmonson. In 1960, he moved with his family to Tampa, Florida, where he would build his life, career, and lasting friendships. He graduated from King High School in 1969 and attended the University of South Florida for two semesters, after which he began what would become a lifelong career in the HVAC industry.
For the past 40 years, Billy proudly served as Vice President of Nuccio Heating & Air Conditioning. He was highly respected within the industry for his knowledge, leadership, and dedication, and he will be deeply missed by colleagues and friends alike.
Billy is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Michele; his children, Candice (Brad) Hufstetler, Joshua, and Michael J. (AnneMarie) Edmonson; and his grandchildren, Justin (Sophia) Herbert, Dr. Zachary (Sadie) Herbert, Mikey Joe, and Addie Edmonson. He is also survived by his sibling, Rhody (Joe) Nuccio, and nephews, Joseph W. and Christopher (Toni) Nuccio.
Outside of work, Billy’s passions included riding and planning trips on his motorcycle. He also enjoyed watching Tampa Bay Buccaneers football. Above all, Billy valued his family and the time spent with those he loved.
Billy will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew him.
A private graveside service will be held on January 24, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
