William Logan Owens

Bill was preceded in death by mother, Beulah Logan-Owens; father, Charles Owens; his late wife, Patricia Bowlin Owens; the love of his life, wife, Marilyn Jean Owens who passed just one month prior.

Bill is survived by his Step Sons, Robert C. Corn (Judy) of Land O'Lakes, Fl. and Michael T. Corn of Tampa, FL.; Grandchildren, Mikayla Grace Corn, Austin Logan Corn of Lithia, Fl. and Rian Bentivegna (Karlee) of Land O Lakes, FL.; Great Grandson, Vincenzo Michael Bentivegna; Cousins, Lawrence Reed Morgan D.D.S of Naples, FL.

Bill attended local schools and graduated from Jefferson High School. He retired from the City of Tampa Water Department after thirty-three years of service. He was a member and Past Master of Community Lodge #292, F. and A. M. Bill served as District Deputy R. W. Grand Master, District 20 West for The Grand Lodge of Florida, FL. and A. M. He was a life member of York Rite. Bill enjoyed old cars and was a member of several clubs throughout the years. He also served as a Reserve Deputy with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office for over 34 years, retiring with the rank of Lieutenant.

A funeral service for both Bill and Marilyn will take place at 11am on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Blount and Curry Carrollwood, located at 3207 W. Bearss Ave. Tampa, FL. 33618. Family will begin receiving guests at 10am.
