Pastor William Riley

Bill was born in Byrdstown, Tennessee to the late Nelvie Lesco Riley and Mary Viola Flowers Riley. Ordained as a minister in 1969; pastoring for almost 51 years, 3 churches in Indiana and the last 32 years at Faith Baptist Church in Tampa, Florida. Bill also worked for the Chrysler Corporation 15 years, and retired from GTE / Verizon after 19 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Robert Dale Riley and infant son, William Bradley Riley. Bill is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Lorinda, of Tampa, Fla., son Michael Duane Riley of Spring Hill, Fla, siblings; Margaret Huddleston (George) of Jamestown, TN, James Riley (Charlene) of Lebanon, OH, Virgil Riley (Lois), of Dayton, OH; grandchildren; Felisha Renee Lashbrook (David), of Hudson, FL, Makayla Danielle Riley (Cole Lydick) of Raleigh, NC, Dakota Scott Riley (Tasha Richardson) of Spring Hill, FL; great grandchildren; Star Lily Lashbrook and Tristan Riley Lashbrook of Hudson, FL Addilyn Jo Cady of Spring Hill, FL.

A Visitation will be held 12 p.m. - 2 p.m., with a Funeral Service at 2 p.m., Thursday, July 16, 2020 at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, 4207 E. Lake Ave., Tampa. Interment will follow at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park.
