Yvonne Beverly (Fuller) Geary

Yvonne Beverly Geary, age 69, of Tampa, Florida passed away on Good Friday, April 15, 2022, at Tampa General Hospital.

She was born to James & Beverly Fuller on January 18, 1953, in Aiken, South Carolina while on family vacation.

Her great-grandfather Alfred Allen, the son of John Allen of Tucson Arizona and Mary Bandurraga - a Native American of Arizona - settled in Tampa in the late 1800’s and the family remained in Tampa and Tarpon Springs area ever since.

She lived her young childhood in Tampa with her beloved grandmother Francis Willie Allen and her adolescent years in Vineland, New Jersey after her mother remarried. After graduating from Vineland High School, she returned to Tampa where she fell in love and married L.C. "Mick" Geary and raised her family.

A devoted mother and grandmother, she was so very proud of her surviving sons, Shawn Myrick Geary, Kevin Lee Geary and Matthew Kyle Geary and her loving grandchildren, Riley, Ava, Paige and Jax.

Beloved sister to Karen Jensen, Jerry Jensen, Paul Jensen, and Rhonda Pettis. Proud Aunt to Dennis, Ryan, Andrew, Melissa, Lindsey, Ashley, Juliann, Kelsey, Lee, Amber, Joelene, Skyla, Paxton, Eric, Bobby, Kayla and so many more.

Beloved niece to Gloria Brindle who she loved and cherished.

She is predeceased by all parents, Beverly Jean Jensen, James Phillip Fuller, stepfather Gerald Weer Jensen, her beloved grandmother Francis Willie Allen Johnson and great grandparents Alfred & May Allen.

She gave everything to those she loved, and she loved everybody. An infectious laugh and beautiful smile, she loved to make people laugh and feel loved.

Yvonne was so loving - having her in our lives was a blessing.

A funeral service for Yvonne will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, Tampa, Florida. Interment to follow in Myrtle Hill Memorial Park, Tampa, Florida.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
