Agnes was born on January 24, 1919, the third of five children born to Joseph and Mary Kubacak. She grew up in the Walburg-Corn Hill area, and married Zigmund Prikryl on November 16, 1948, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Corn Hill. Her family will always remember the many cup towels and pillowcases she embroidered and gave as gifts; we will also always remember her cooking and baking talents, especially her special sauerkraut, her perfect kolaches and poppy seed buchta.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Zigmund Prikryl; her parents Joseph and Mary Kubacak; her sisters Tillie Kohutek and Victoria Palousek; and her brother Clement Kubacak.
Agnes is survived by her daughter Colette Prikryl of Taylor; her son Cary Prikryl of Thorndale; her grandson Corey Peacock and her great-grandson Chance Peacock of Thorndale; her sister Elizabeth Williams of Georgetown; her brother-in-law Rufus Prikryl of Granger; her sister-in-law Roselee Prikryl of Cedar Park; and many nieces and nephews.
Her son and daughter extend their appreciation and gratitude to Agnes' SPJST Rest Home family for their many years of friendship, love and care.
