Fred loved to cook big meals for everyone when we could get together. He loved all dearly. He was a brick mason and could always say I laid bricks on that house, church, or school. He always enjoyed this work.
Fred spent a tour of duty in the army mostly in Korea. He was a cook in the 728th Military Police Battalion Headquarters and quarters in company in Seoul, Korea. While there they supported an orphanage of children from the sadness of war.
Fred loved his church being a part of all aspects of church especially being able to lead discussion classes for over 45 years. He also rang the bell for most of the Sundays.
