Isabel Medina

Isabel S. Medina, age 86, of Holland, TX passed away on Monday October 6, 2014 in Bryan, TX. Isabel was born in 1927 to Porfirio Solis and Otilia Reyes Solis in Granger, Tx. Isabel was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was a proud member of Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Granger, TX.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Porfirio and Otilia Solis; her husband, Prudencio “Lencho” Medina; her daughter, Maria Medina; her son, Gabino Medina; and 2 brothers.

She is survived by her daughter, Maria Elena & Rodrigo Sanchez; her grandchildren, Gabriel & Sylvia Medina of Holland, Joseph & Rosie Sanchez of Bryan, and Edward & Alicia Sanchez of College Station; her great grandchildren, Idalia and Diego Medina and Enrique and Amaris Sanchez; her brothers and sisters, Vica Garcia, Jenaro Solis, Patsy Tovar, Maria Guzman, Janie Luna, and Joe Solis; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 6pm-8pm on Thursday October 9, 2014 at Goodnight Funeral Home with a Rosary at 7pm. Mass will be held at 9:30am at Ss. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Granger on Friday October 10, 2014. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
