Johnnie S. Marcon

John Stanley Marcon, was born in Taylor Texas, on October 3, 1929 and passed from this life with his family on October 28, 2011 at the age of 82. He graduated from St. Mary’s High School and served in the Army.

He married his wife, Marie, on June 20, 1953, and they enjoyed 58 years together. He had a beautiful spirit, and we will truly miss his shining blue eyes. He had a special place in his heart for his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Marie; son David and wife Sharon Marcon of Taylor; daughter Vickie and husband Ernest Stefek of Thrall. He is preceded in death by his sons Mark and Chris Marcon.

Grandchildren are Sherri Marcon and companion Joel Gamez; Melissa and Mark Hill; Kristie and Willie Jones; Tina Stefek and companion Jason Halliburton; Teri Ochoa; Tracy and Jim Fischbacher; Seth and Mallory Marcon.

Great grandchildren are Daryn Gamez; Ethan and Eastan Ochoa; Hayden and Ava Hill; Kaylee Dunn; Grainger, Garrison, and Tucker Fischbacher.

Honorary pallbearers are his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Rosary was held Monday evening at 6:30; Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, at St Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
