Mary Ellen Frerichs

She was manager of Frerichs Grocery Store in Beyersville until its closing in 1973. She also worked at Luhn and Johns Drugstore in Taylor. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Mary Bachmayer Frerichs of Beyersville, and her sister and brother-in-law, Clarice and Elva Remmel of Taylor. She is survived by her nieces, Janet Bohls and husband Lanier, Nancy Pippin and husband James, and Karen Remmel. She is also survived by great-nephews Ryan Bohls and wife Rhonda; Derek Bohls and wife Desiree; great-nieces Brandee Thompson and husband Shelby; and Brittany Pippin, as well as 3 great-great nieces. Her pallbearers were Gary Lange, Lanier Bohls, James Pippin, Ryan Bohls, and Derek Bohls. The family wishes to express deep appreciation to Jackie Lawhon for her love and support over the years. The family also wishes to give special thanks to the staff at Will-O-Bell Nursing Home in Bartlett.
