Nora A. Johnson

Nora Johnson, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother died peacefully on April 29th at the age of 95. She was born on December 4, 1918 to Emil G. Stauffer and Ida Weise Stauffer. She was baptized as an infant into the Lutheran faith and confirmed on September 18, 1932. On June 1st, 1941 she married Harvey A. Johnson who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her son Preston Johnson, her sister Lillie Wieringa, her brother Harry Stauffer and her parents.

Nora is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Sladek, husband Harvey; her grandsons, Leslie Sladek, wife Connie, Lynn Sladek and Leland Sladek, wife Joan; six great-grandchildren, Sean Sladek, Ryan Sladek, Kelby Sladek, wife Karin, Riley Sladek, wife Susannah, Kailey Davidson, husband Amos and Garrett Sladek, wife Haylee; and three great-great grandchildren, Avery Sladek, Reid Sladek and Lynli Davidson.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, 2:00 pm, May 1st, 2014 at Condra Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Jon Bielfeldt. Burial will follow at the Taylor City Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons.
