Mrs. Striegler was born Jan. 23, 1943, in Schwertner to Henry Fred and Alma Spinn Stabeno. She lived a joyful life filled with love, laughter, and kindness. Known for her delicious cooking, quick wit, and welcoming spirit, she never met a stranger. She also enjoyed winning at Scrabble, working on jigsaw puzzles, and recalling people and places throughout Bell and Williamson counties with her remarkable memory.
She is survived by her husband, Maurice Striegler of Salado; three children, Monica Crouch of Davilla, Jackie (David) Almond of Lynchburg, Va., and Gary (Estella) Gersbach of Garland; siblings, Charles (Diane) Stabeno of Taylor, Donald (Claudia) Stabeno of Big Spring, and Kathy (Melvin) Williams of Salado; five grandchildren, Benjamin (Ashley) Martinka, Elizabeth (Todd) Steglich, Sarah (David) Hejl, Grace Martinka, and Kelly Almond; and eight great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Striegler’s warmth and zest for life touched everyone she met, and her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2025 from 6-8 p.m. at Goodnight Funeral Home in Bartlett. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2025 at St. John Lutheran Church in Bartlett. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John Lutheran Church in Bartlett.
