

Sarah Ann Click, 74, of Taylor, Texas, passed away on November 3, 2022. Sarah was born in Union, Mississippi on November 22, 1947, to the late Homer Blackwell and Eleanor Adelle Chaney. Sarah married Willard Lee Click on February 14, 1965; they were married for 51 years before Willard’s passing in 2016.
Sarah worked at State Farm doing data entry for 22 years and later worked for the State of Texas. Sarah was an avid fan of Elvis Presley and his music. On the weekends David and Amy would wake to the music of an Elvis Presley eight track and the sound of Sarah saying, “Open the windows!” Sarah’s greatest hobby was her grandchildren. She loved them without question and enjoyed her time with them.
Sarah is survived by her children; son, David Allen Click and wife Patty Click; daughter, Amy Lynn Scheffel and husband Chris Scheffel; brother, John Blackwell; grandchildren, Christian Click, Kevin Click, Kellie Click, Sean Scheffel, and Nathan Scheffel; great-grandchildren, Sterling, Esther, I-Zec, Jerimiah, Kasion, Sebellea, Lon; numerous nieces and nephews, and other family and friends. Sarah is preceded in death by her parents Homer Blackwell and Eleanor Adelle Chaney; husband Willard Lee Click; and brothers Joe Blackwell and Jimmy Blackwell.
Sarah’s service will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at the Condra Funeral home in Taylor, Texas, with a short graveside service to follow at the Taylor City Cemetery. David Click, Christian Click, Kevin Click, Chris Scheffel, Sean Scheffel, and Travis Breedlove will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the St. Paul Lutheran Church on 401 West Seventh Street in Taylor, Texas.
