

Vera was born in Travis County, Texas on October 21, 1933, to the late Ernest Aaron Hanson and Esther Elvira Samuelson Hanson. She graduated from Thrall High School and was valedictorian of her class. She married her high school sweetheart, Glenn Louis Lange, on June 14, 1952. They were married for 45 years.
She was a homemaker until her children were grown and graduated. She worked in eldercare as a caregiver for 20 years. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, reading and spending time with family and friends. She loved sending hand written notes to family and friends and in them included such fun memories and encouragement to those she loved. She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Austin, Texas, and enjoyed supporting the Comfort Dog ministry. She was a delightful, generous, wonderful person who made friends with anyone she met.
Vera is survived by her brother, Marvin Hanson, her sister-in-law Judy Malish, her three children Ronnie Lange and wife Lee Ann, Nancy Fosdick and husband Matt, Lori Beckers and husband Eric, her grandchildren Joe Hunt and wife Leslie, August Lange, Haven Mota and husband David, Serenity Fosdick, Jared Fosdick and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Vera is preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Esther Hanson, her husband Glenn Louis Lange, her siblings Ernest “Sonny” Hanson and wife LaValle, Gladys Srnensky and husband Ed, Eunice Jozwiak and husband Albin, Larry Hanson and wife Dorothy, her sister-in-law Norma Hanson, her son-in-law
Mark Brinkley and other family and friends.
