Billie Jean Singleton Brummitte age 77 of Talbott, TN formerly of Claiborne County was born October 25, 1936 and passed away June 1, 2014 at Jefferson City Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Claiborne County High School. She worked at Howmet, took care of her family and lived for her child and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvie and Oma Singleton and niece, Angie Singleton.

She is survived by her Daughter: Lisa Jean and Kenneth Matthews of Talbott, TN

Grandchildren: Kerrisa Matthews and Tyler Matthews

Sister: Georgia Bell Wolfe of Bean Station, TN

The family will receive friends from 4 until 7 P.M. Wednesday at Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell with funeral service to follow at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday June 4, 2014 in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial at 11:00 A.M. Thursday in the Wilson Cemetery.
