Cathy Elizabeth Greer

Cathy Greer age 59, of the Mulberry Gap Community, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 15, 2017. Cathy was saved in 1968 at Mulberry Gap Baptist Church and was a faithful member of Alanthus Hill Baptist Church for the past 2 years. Cathy was preceded in death by her father, Layton Ramsey; father and mother-in-law, Milt and Lorraine Greer, nephew Justin Ramsey and Aunt Mary Horton.

She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years Jimmy “Moe” Greer, Her son & Daughter-in-law Steven & Katie Greer of Spearfish, SD, Her daughter & son-in-law Amanda and Stanley Short of Sneedville, TN,; Her Grandkids whom she loved dearly Patrick & MacKenzie Short and Clark Greer,

Her mother Edith Ramsey, Her brothers Roger and Clara Ramsey, L.C. Ramsey, Jerry and Deanna Ramsey, Ronald and Jeanne Ramsey and Raymond Ramsey all of Sneedville, TN, Her sister Marcia & Anthony Skokely of Del Rio, TN, and a host of nieces, nephews, church family and other relatives.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M. Friday March 17, 2017 at Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell. Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday March 18, 2017 in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial in the Greer Family Cemetery.
