James Short

Mr. James Thomas Short age 62 of Speedwell, TN was born February 12, 1953 and passed away November 24, 2015 at Tennova Hospital in LaFollette, TN. He was saved at Thorn Hill Baptist Church and attended Goins Chapel Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents George Sylvester and Ruby Lourine Short and one brother Henry D. Short.

He is survived by his daughter: Jennifer Sulfridge

Son: Clint Lucas Short both of New Tazewell, TN

Grandchildren: Alexis Sulfridge, Harley Short, Emrika Short, Braxton Short and Ethon Short

Sisters: Nancy & Ronnie Williams

Marie & Tip Maples all of Tazewell, TN

Several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 P.M. Saturday November 28, 2015 at Coffey Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 7 P.M. Saturday night in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside service 2:00 P.M. Sunday in the Fairview cemetery.
