Kenneth Kenny Lawrence Wolfe

Kenneth "Kenny" L. Wolfe, 67 years old, of Summerfield, Florida, went to join the Lord on April 3rd. Kenny loved spending time with his family and being outdoors. He was an avid golfer and loved hunting, fishing, and classic muscle cars. He was a long time member of the First Baptist Church of Tecumseh, Michigan. Kenny met his sweetheart, soulmate, and best friend at a very young age and had been happily married for the past 45 years. He and his wife spent nearly 40 years in Michigan, working 39 years at General Motors, and raising their 3 children. Kenny and his wife retired to a golf course community almost 3 years ago in the sunshine state of Florida.

He was proceeded in death by his parents Lawrence and Dorothia Wolfe of Rose Hill, VA.

Kenneth is survived by his wife Virginia (Bray) Wolfe;

Children Darrin (Lura) Wolfe of Pfafftown, NC, Derrick (Sara) Wolfe of Erie, CO, Danessa (Michael) Obirek of Port Orange, FL,

Nine grandchildren.

Brothers Reverend Carlos (Kathy) Wolfe of Jonesville, VA, Oscar Charles Wolfe of Rose Hill, VA, and Ronald Lee Wolfe of Rose Hill, VA.

As well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday April 8, 2017 at Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell, TN. The loved ones of Mr. Wolfe will receive family and friends from 11-2; the funeral service will begin at 2pm. Kenneth will be laid to rest at Hopewell cemetery in Harrogate, TN following the service.
