It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Hung Van Tran, who passed away peacefully on November 19, 2025, at 12:17 AM, at the age of 65, in Danang, Vietnam. Hung immigrated to the United States in 2015 and embraced his new life with dedication, always striving to support his family. He found joy in the simple things, like enjoying a bottle of beer each evening, exercising, and spending time with his beloved grandchildren: Clara, Collin, and Hanie.
Hung is survived by his wife, Thi Thu Nguyen, and children Thao Tran, Nu Tran, Hung Tran, and Viet Tran, as well as his sisters, Chanh, Huong, Be, and brothers, Buu and Cu.
Hung fought a courageous battle with cancer and, in his memory, he expressed a wish for donations to be made to cancer organizations that helped him during his fight. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to local cancer organization in his hometown, Danang, Vietnam
