Rudolphus “Rudy” Alphonso Riley was preceded in death by his father, Rudolphus Alphonso Riley, Sr., his beloved brother, Rashad Abdul Riley, and grandparents, Ms. Marie Massey Mobley and Mr. Edmund Plummer, Sr.

Reflections

Rudolphus Alphonso Riley III was affectionately known as “Little Rudy” and his grandfather called him “Dolphus”. Rudy was employed most of his life as a chef and cook. He spent the early years of his life in Tampa, Florida. After much consideration, his beloved mother Carolyn relocated with her children to Los Angeles, California. This is where he attended Elementary School, Junior High School, and High School. Just before his untimely demise, Rudy was able to move to Marietta, Georgia. This is where he would spend his last days with his son Aedyn, alongside his long-time partner Amanda, Aedyns’s mother. The time he spent there brought him great happiness. Rudy loved to cook for his family. He also really enjoyed family gatherings. Rudy was an excellent barber and enjoyed cutting many of his friend’s hair. He was an avid sports fan. Rudy’s favorite teams were the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Golden State Warriors, the Tampa Bay Rays, as well as many other sports teams. Rudy took great pride in how he looked, his dressing apparel, and how he presented himself.

Rudolphus leaves to cherish his memory of a very devoted and loving mother, Carolyn Plummer Riley. His loving son, Aedyn Riley. His long-time partner, Amanda Moore. His beloved sisters, Angel Smith and Nichole Riley. His brothers Ronald, Robert, Rudy Jr., and Ray Riley. His Uncles Robert Massey and Rodney Plummer. His sister-in-law, Maya Riley. His niece, Sunny Riley. His nephews, Tylaun and Austin Riley. His other brothers from another mother, Theodore “Teddy” Goodman and Gerard Ellis. He is also survived by many relatives and very many devoted friends near and far.
