CUSTER, Robert “Steve”, 60, passed away on May 11, 2015 after a three year long battle with melanoma. Steve was born in Tampa on August 6, 1954 to the late Bob and Myrtle Custer. He graduated from Tampa Bay Technical High School in 1973. He then went on to a long career in the audio visual repair and information technology industry. He was last employed as the Supervisor of Closed Circuit Television and Local Area Networks for the Hillsborough County School System, where he was known for his strong work ethic and dedication to quality. He is survived by his wife, Kathy; his sons, Michael and Christopher; his stepson, Julian Dixon; sister, Debra Custer and seven grandchildren. Steve was an avid Harley rider and loved spending time with his family. A Celebration of Life will take place at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 16th, at Blount & Curry, Terrace Oaks Chapel, 12690 N. 56th St., Temple Terrace.
