She was born on June 12, 1937, in Belton, Texas, to Colonel Woodrow Wilson and Fannie Wood.
She had 8 siblings. Four preceded her in death, George Wilson, Woodie Wilson, Monty Wilson, and Andria Medlin. Surviving siblings are Benda Easter, Wesley Wilson, Nelda Gregg, and Grady Wilson.
She has 2 loving sons, Larry Kanne and Gary Kanne; 4 grandchildren, Amanda Sanchez, Justin Kanne, Toby Kanne, and Tasha Kanne; and 6 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, March 19, 2022, at 2 p.m. at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Temple, Texas. Burial will follow at Temple/Mt. Zion Garden of Memories.
