

Mrs. Coker passed away on February 1, 2013 in the loving comfort of her family and friends.
Betty met and married Elmer Lloyd Coker in Midland Texas on July 14, 1979. Betty and Lloyd enjoyed a 33 year love affair that made them known as simply inseparable to family and friends.
Betty loved to travel with her husband; one of her favorite places to visit was Mount Rushmore. She was an excellent bowler and a member of several bowling leagues.
She was a very devoted Wife, Mother and Grandmother.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters, Jessie Settles and Fay Rene McCall and her beloved German shepherd, Mouser.
She will be greatly missed by her best friend and the love of her life, Lloyd Coker. Their love will live forever in Lloyd’s heart.
Betty is also survived by the couple’s five children; Brenda Bechtol, Becky Vasterling (Jim), Lloyd “Pete” Coker (Margaret), Jo Lynn Mayes (Bill) and Ronald Dean Coker (Christine), and her only brother, Lonzo E. Settles, and two very special friends, James and Cathy Davis.
She was a kind, nurturing, loving grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
The Coker family will receive guests for a time of visitation on Sunday, February 3, 2013 from 5-7 PM at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home of Temple. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Crawford-Bowers funeral home on Monday, February 4, 2013 at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow the services in the Mooreville Cemetery.
