Memorial services for Gloria Jean (Kropke) Harris, 84 of Temple will be at 11:00 a.m. October 14th at Crossroads of Hillside Church in Hillside, Illinois. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois. The body will be cremated.
Mrs. Harris died Saturday, October 8th in a Temple hospital. She was born December 5th, 1926 to Adolph and Pauline (Jewell) Kropke in Chicago, Illinois. She married LeRoy R. Harris on June 29, 1946 in Chicago. She was a past Member of Bell Fine Arts and Salado Village Artists as well as a member of First Baptist Church in Belton.
Survivors include three sons, Lee Harris of Troy, Richard and Tim Harris, both of Lombard, Illinois. Sisters, Karole Christian and Pauline Savage of California and Virginia Hoffman of Kentucky, 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Her husband, Roy, preceded her in death as well as her sister Bette Mae hayes.
Crawford Bowers Funeral Home in Temple is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Belton.
