Harry Reid Hall Sr., age 85, of Temple, Texas passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2019 in a Temple facility. Harry was born March 23, 1934 in Charlotte, North Carolina to William Guy Hall Sr. and Jewell Ellen Fowler.
Harry served 20 years in the US Army and retired in 1978 as MSG. After retiring from the Army Harry worked at the US Post Office for several years then left there to open his own carpet cleaning business which he eventually sold years later.
Harry was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Georgia of Temple, TX.
He is survived by his sons, Harry R. Hall, Jr., and wife Lisa of Tampa, FL, David W. Hall of Hudson, WI, Robert Wayne Hall of Dickson, TN, daughter, Nancy Beard and husband John of Nashville, TN, step-son, Scott Bloedorn and wife Judy of Rogers, Texas, brother, William Guy Hall of Charlotte, NC, 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service for Harry will be held Friday, November 8, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, Killeen, Texas. A memorial service will occur Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, Temple, Texas. A burial will occur at Central Texas Mortuary Service.
Memorial may be made to the American Cancer Association.
