Jeraldine Van Winkle Ellison

Jeraldine VanWinkle Ellison, formerly of Temple, was born to Vena Mae Key and Brice Miller VanWinkle on June 9, 1931 in Mound, Texas. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 21, 2013 in Sherman, Texas. She was 81 years old.

Funeral arrangements will be handled by Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home of Temple. Family Visitation will be 6-8 pm on Wednesday , January 23, and funeral services at 2 pm on Thursday, January 24, 2013, with Rev. Sam Callaway officiating. Burial in Moffat Cemetery, Moffat, Texas

She married William Lloyd Ellison on August 7, 1946 in Cameron, Texas. They were married for 61 years. Jeraldine worked at Montgomery Wards and K-Mart. She was a member of the Eastern Star Chapter in Temple Texas.

She is survived by her brother, Kermit Van Winkle, of Belton. Sons: William Bryce and wife, Debra, of Moffat; Jerry Lee and wife, Sue, of Moffat, daughters: Randy Lynn Ekberg and husband, Steve, of Anna; Connie Sue Easley and husband, Gary, of Hammond, Louisiana; and Vicki Lou McComack and husband, Richard, of Pottsboro. Grandchildren: Trevor Ellison; Laura Cosper Cegelski; Sue Ann Ellison; Lloyd Allan Cosper; Byron Ellison; Kathy Mills Martinez; Stacy Ellison Hale; Jeromey Larza; Joshua Easley; Derek Schmid; and Amber Ekberg Guthery. Step Grand-Children: Andy Posey, Kathy Posey Wright, Angela Ekberg Moran, Roxanne McComack Foster, Ricky McComack, Mark McComack, and David Mann

Jeraldine was preceded in death by her parents and her husband William Lloyd Ellison, her brothers: L D, Ralph David, John Daman, Raymond, and Hershel, and her sister, Wanda Edith VanWinkle Wade.

She had been a lifelong resident of Temple, Texas, and a member of First Baptist Church of Lake Belton. Prior to her death Jeraldine was living with daughter, Vicki in Pottsboro Texas.
