Jo Starnes, age 95, of Temple, Texas passed away on Monday, November 7, 2022. She was born on March 6, 1927 to Barney and Bessie Brown in Melvin, Texas. She grew up in Melvin and graduated from Temple High School. After High School she worked for Scott and White Hospital and soon became an office manager of Foremost Equipment Company and later started her own furniture company. She married William Curtis Starnes in 1946. She is survived by her loving husband of 76 years William Curtis Starnes, children Gerry Starnes and daughter Sandra Carabotta, 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
