Leonora Ann Gallaspy was born on September 2, 1950 to her parents Buford Edward Gallaspy and Annie Faye (McWilliams) Gallaspy in Bastrop, Louisiana. She was baptized as a young child sometime in the early 1960’s at Southside Baptist Church in Borger, Texas, with Rev. Ball officiating. She was married to Robert Glide Morrow on July 2, 1969 at Bible Baptist Church in Borger, Texas with Pastor Forsythe officiating. Nora was Confirmed with her dear husband at St. Paul Lutheran Church, The Grove, Texas on December 30, 2018.
When asked at the funeral home on Monday if Nora served in the military the answer was “Yes”, not enlisted herself, but for 20 years going around the world with her husband. The story was told that whenever she would come on post driving Robert’s car with all of the officer insignia on it, the guards would salute her and she never knew what to do, not thinking it right to salute back. Later she was finally convinced saluting back was the thing to do as she served our nation by serving Robert as he served.
Nora was a part of two groups throughout her adult life. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and also a member of the Mystery Book Club at Harker Heights, Texas.
Nora was preceded in death by her parents Buford Edward and Annie Faye (McWilliams) Gallaspy; and by their son, Bobby Edward Morrow, on July 1st of 2025.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Robert Morrow; by her son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Gina Morrow; by her grandchildren, Nate Morrow and Jasmine Morrow; by her brother and sister-in-law, Dale and Connie Gallaspy; by her sister and brother-in-law, Connie and Bill Wildcat; and by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Leonora Ann (Gallaspy) Morrow lived on this earth 75 years, 6 months, and 4 days. Now through faith in Jesus Christ alone she lives for all eternity with Him in Heaven.
