Ofelia Lichtenberger

A memorial service for Ofelia will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, June 14, 2025 at St. Francis de Paula Catholic Church, San Diego, TX. Burial will follow at San Diego Cemetery.

Ofelia grew up in San Diego, TX and graduated from San Diego High School in 1959. She married Rogelio Lichtenberger on November 13, 1965 in San Diego. They were blessed with one daughter, Roxanna. She was a homemaker and was a member of St. Francis De Paula Catholic Church in San Diego. She loved to garden, reading, crossword puzzles, coloring, dancing, watching game shows and loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a loving mother and will be missed dearly.

She is preceded in death by her husband Rogelio Lichtenberger, parents, Agustin and Demetria Ybarra, brothers, Diego, Antonio, Jesus, Agustin Ybarra and sister, Carmen I. Garcia.

She is survived by her daughter Roxanna and husband J.M. Luna Jr., brother, Guadalupe P. Ybarra, grandchildren, Rogelio M. Valdez, Justin L. Luna, Jenna M. Luna, Rose Posival and husband Kevin, Juan M. Luna III, Roberto R. Luna, great-grandchildren, Jordyn A. Valdez, Rose Lily Posival, Julian M. Luna, Harper L. Posival, Hunter S. Posival, Abrielle M. Valdez, Dominic J. Valdez, Alex Luna, Delilah J. Luna and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
