Mrs. Ruth Young Jeffcoat

Services for Ruth Young Jeffcoat, 87, of Rogers will be 1:00 Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home Chapel in Temple. Reverend Tom Henderson will officiate. Burial will follow at Reeds Lake Cemetery near Little River. Ruth died Wednesday, April 7, 2010 in a Temple hospital.

Ruth was born May 22, 1922 in Palestine, TX to Alonzo Oliver Young and Mildred Tarrer Young. She married Millard W. Jeffcoat in Palestine October 16, 1945. She was a homemaker and they resided in Temple from 1959 to 1988 when she moved to Rogers. While in Temple she was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Mrs. Jeffcoat was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years on September 8, 2001.

Survivors include one son, Millard Wayne Jeffcoat of Belton; two daughters, Linda Perkins of Rogers and Lorene Love of Temple; two sisters, Nela Mae Pyle of Kilgore and Juanita Louis Gatlin of Dallas; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
