Alonzo Hoffman Jr.

Alonzo “Al” Hoffman, Jr., 64, of Terre Haute, passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2017, at Union Hospital, after an extended illness, surrounded by his family. He was born on August 19, 1953, in Brazil to Alonzo and Jerry Hoffman. Alonzo attended Gerstmeyer High School and served in the United States Army. He spent over 40 years in the auto body business. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed hanging out at the body shop and swapping stories and telling tales with the boys. Alonzo is survived by his wife, Wanda Hoffman of Terre Haute; daughters, Francie (Joee) Culbertson of Brazil, Tracy (Kevin) Robinson of Terre Haute; son, Anthony (Stephanie) Allen of Terre Haute; brother, Jimmy (Misty) Hoffman of Terre Haute; sisters, Linda Forbes of Terre Haute and Vickie (Bob) Casad of LaBelle, FL; grandchildren, Zebediah and Landon Duke, Joee Culbertson all of Brazil, Dayton Music, Lorin and Hannah Allen, Maggie and Maisie Robinson, all of Terre Haute. Special thanks to Rick Royer, Roy Thompson, and Pastor Jim Norman for their help and support. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Ronnie and Bobby Hoffman. Visitation will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Friday, December 8 at Thomas Funeral Home. Services will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday, at the funeral home with Pastor Jim Norman of Remnant Church officiating.
