Nécrologie de Amber Sebastian
Amber Lea Sebastian, 60, of Terre Haute, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2019, at the Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care. She was born on April 17, 1958, in Terre Haute to Dorothea "Toni" Norris and Marion "Bill" Norris. She graduated from Terre Haute North in 1976. Amber married the love of her life, Richard Sebastian, on November 21, 1981. Amber is survived by her husband, Richard; son and special daughter-in-law, Matthew and Alison Sebastian; her "rock," daughter Shannon, and her fur baby Peanut. She is also survived by Toni Roberts. Amber dearly loved her children. There was a special place in her heart for her grandchildren, Case and Elliott. She was a proud Grammy to such special grand-babies. She was so happy when she was spending time with her whole family. Before her illness, she was a pharmacy technician at Kroger and was employed at McDonald's, too. Amber never met a stranger and seemed to know everyone. She loved to talk with people. As her children were growing up, she loved the time she spent with them at their sporting events, recitals, and school functions. She was a co-founder of the Terre Town Twistin' Tigers and was a baseball team mom for many years. She also loved to bake, cook and crochet. Purple was her favorite color! Through her battle with cancer, she had dear friends who encouraged and supported her throughout her journey: Rachel Lozier (BFF), Julie Hayne, Stephen and Michelle Ernest, John Glazner, Diana Moyer, Tia Javonovich, Jane Trierweiler and Kim Woodason. Amber doesn't want you to cry because she left us. Remember a happy, silly moment with her and smile. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 29, at Roselawn Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Amber will be laid to rest in Roselawn Memorial Park. The family would like to thank the staff of The Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care and the Oncology Unit at Union Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Terre Haute Humane Society. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.roselawnfuneralhome.net
