Anita was born July 3, 1929 to Albert and Olive Butts in Terre Haute. She went on to graduate from Garfield High School and later married Gerald Loudermilk in 1950.
In her younger years Anita enjoyed traveling. Later, she found enjoyment in shopping, reading mystery novels and her dog Foxy. Anita was a member of the Eastern Star and the Red Hat Society.
Anita is survived by her children Gary (Connie) Loudermilk, Diane (Steve - Deceased) Bonham, Dale (Linda) Loudermilk, and Alan Loudermilk; grandchildren Jennifer, Stefanie, Kimberly, Justin, Aaron, Adam, Megan, Alan, Michelle, Jenny, Salena, Landon, and Lacinda; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents Albert and Olive Butts (Sargent) and her husband of 53 years Gerald Loudermilk.
A public visitation for Anita will be held Friday, June 13, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Roselawn Funeral Home, 7500 North Clinton Street, Terre Haute, IN 47805 with services to follow.
