Betty was born on March, 3, 1931 in Greenville, Illinois, the daughter of the late Ralph and Tevilla (Parrish) Wilderman.
Betty was a woman who had a great love for her three girls and grandchildren, and dearly loved her entire family. Her hobbies included bird watching, gardening, shopping, playing Scrabble, reading and dining out. Betty always unintentionally had the entire room laughing; her sense of humor and wit will live on in the hearts of those she touched for generations to come. She had a heart of gold and was known for putting others before herself. As an independent woman and spitfire, she left a lasting impression on those she met. Her kind, loving and generous ways will always be cherished.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her three daughters, Jacqueline Emberton, Lisa and husband Bryon Yowell and Shannon and husband Neil Wood; son-in-law, Michael Emberton; grandchildren, Shane Emberton, Ashlyn Emberton, Beth Montgomery and Rodney Yowell; sister, Mary and husband Paul Massenheimer; brothers, Rolland and wife Eva Jo Wilderman and Melvin Wilderman. Betty also leaves behind several loving nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Barbaralea Winko.
