

Billie was a graduate of Otter Creek High School. She married Otis "Wayne" Kirchner on Sept. 18, 1947, in Terre Haute. They celebrated more than 50 years together before his passing in 1999. Billie was employed by Columbia House Records until she retired in 1971. Billie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was an incredible cook who has left behind many recipes to be cherished by her family. Billie was a member of the Cross Lane Community Church. She enjoyed time with friends as well as family and could often be found shopping or out to lunch with them.
Billie was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Bobby Jacks; three sisters, Dorothy Jacks, Mary (Bill) Jameson, Joann (Jim) Moreland; one infant daughter, Janice Kirchner; and her husband.
Billie is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Jody Jacks of Terre Haute; her children, Larry (Laura) Kirchner, Connie (Paul) Mason and Jack (Brenda) Kirchner, all of Terre Haute and Tammie (Dave) Huff of Kansas, Ill.; her grandchildren, Missey Mason, Tom (Jessica) Kirchner, Travis (Stacy) Mason, Kari (Derek) Dayhuff, Jenna Burd, all of Terre Haute, Mia (David) Capen of Baltimore, and Joe (Libby) Hornacky of Shiner, Texas; her great-grandchildren, Caleb Drake, Chloe, Caden, and Carly Mason, Lauren and Audrey Kirchner, Camilla and Weston Capen, and Jack, Lola and Tucker Hornacky; one great-great-grandson, Elijah Drake; several nieces and nephews; as well as her special friends, Wanda, Anita, and Mary.
Visitation will be held at Roselawn Funeral Home on Monday, June 25, 2018, from 6 until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held the next day, Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at 10 a.m. with Pastor Brett Wilson officiating. Interment to follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kindred Hospice or Happiness Bag of Terre Haute. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff of Springhill Village for their care.
