Bob Dean Dodson passed into Heaven on Monday, March 10th, at the Union Hospital, at nearly 1:00 pm. He was born on November 20, 1942, with his twin sister, Sylvia, in Dupo, Illinois. They grew up in southern Illinois, in a family of 3 brothers & 5 sisters. He graduated High School in Greenup, Illinois and he moved to Terre Haute in 1969 when he returned from serving in Vietnam. He and his brother Ron went into the car business together about that same time.
Bob and Donna were married on March 14, 1970. Bob had a son, Dirk Dodson, Illinois. And Bob & Donna had two daughters, Lisa Ann Dodson and Rebecca Sue (Suzy) Johnson, (Perry Johnson.) All in Terre Haute. Bob and Donna have 14 grandchildren & are presently waiting on their 15th Great Grandchild. Their 55th wedding anniversary is Friday, March 14th.
A CELEBRATION OF LIFE service will be held at Maryland Community Church, 46 Campus, 4700 SR. 46, Terre Haute, 47802 on SATURDAY, MARCH 22, 2025. At 2:00 pm. Flowers may be sent to the church. Donations in his memory would be appreciated for Hospice of the Wabash Valley.
