Brenda Carol Gray

She was born in Benton Harbor, Michigan on October 17, 1951, to Verl and Lucy Decker. She married Dennis L. Gray September 28, 1968.

She was a 1969 Petersburg High School Graduate and she attended Oakland City College. In 1991 she graduated Com Laude from Saint Mary of the Woods with a BS in accounting and in 1999 she graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with an MBA. She also held a CPA license.

Brenda worked for G.E. Tri-Remanufacturing and Unison Engine Components Inc. as a Finance Manager where she retired in 2014. She was on the Board Advantage Credit, and at times she was an adjunct teacher at Saint Mary of the Woods College. She attended Cross Tabernacle Church.

She is survived by her husband Dennis; two daughters, Felicia and husband Dan Walls, Jacquelyn and husband John Wrin; and one son, Joshua and wife Sarah Gray; nine grandchildren, Daniel Walls, Faith Walls, Lily Wrin, Maddie Wrin, Kaitlin Wrin, Josie Wrin, Logan Gray, Liam Gray, Dorian Lucus Gray; her mother, Lucy Decker; a sister Rhonda Martin and husband Jim; and a brother, Randy Decker.

Brenda was preceded in death by her father Verl Decker.

There will be a visitation Thursday, June 26, from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Cross Tabernacle Church in Terre Haute, IN. Funeral services will be Friday, June 27, at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg, IN, at 3:00 pm with a visitation prior to the services from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm. Rev. Dan Walls and Rev. Aaron Willis will be officiating. Burial will take place at Pleasant Ridge cemetery in Petersburg, IN.
