Carl was born in Terre Haute on January 29, 1954, the only child of the late Carl A. and Mary M. (Taplas) Rodgers. He was united in marriage to the love of his life, the former Mary Hamilton on March 4, 1974 in Terre Haute.
Carl enjoyed computers, fishing and collecting all sorts of fish. He will forever be remembered as a wonderful and loving husband, father and grandfather.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Mary Rodgers; daughter, Diana Rodgers and his grandchildren whom he absolutely adored, Chelsey and Bella Netemeyer.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 13, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until Carl’s Funeral Ceremony at 12:00 Noon at the Mattox-Wood Funeral Home, 4660 Lafayette. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family online at www.mattoxwood.com
