

Carrol Lee Hagerman, 85, of Terre Haute, passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at Westminster Village. She was born on June 15, 1934, in Terre Haute to Willard and Guinivere (Grigsby) Booth Martin.
Carrol is survived by her daughters, Debra Justice and husband James of Indiana and their children Jamie, James, Jared, Robert, and Kenny; Lori Collins and husband Ted of Lantana, TX, their children Lindsey and Kyle, and grandchildren Hailey, Hadley, and Cole; and Lynn Wilkey and husband Jim of Terre Haute and their children Madison, Paige, and Camryn; siblings, Bill Booth and wife Shirley, Audrey Ailes and husband Bob, and Rachel Smith; and her devoted canine companion, Chico.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl Hagerman; sisters, Betty Meinheartt and Judy White; and a brother, David Martin.
Carrol worked as a teacher’s aide for many years. She loved teaching children and enjoyed her role as a Girl Scout Troop Leader. Carrol liked to be outside in her yard and feeding the wild birds that came to visit. She looked enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Fiercely independent, Carrol remained active and healthy for as long as she possibly could. She was a strong woman with a kind, generous heart. She will forever be remembered as an amazing mother who truly was the definition of unconditional love.
A Celebration of Carrol’s life will begin at 2 p.m. and family will receive friends until 4 p.m. on Saturday, December 14 at Roselawn Funeral Home.
