Chadwena Gaile Bartlett

Chadwena Gaile (Stewart) (Naugle) Bartlett, 72, of Shepardsville, passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2012. She was born on April 18, 1940, in Terre Haute, to Kenneth and Margaret (Williams) Stewart. She married Robert Bartlett on May 27, 1978. Chadwena worked for Weston Paper, General Housewares, and retired from Terre Haute First National Bank. She was a past Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star #86 and a past Guardian of Job’s Daughters. She was a member of Trinity Church in Shepardsville. Chadwena raised eleven children which includes her own children, step-children, adopted children, and two granddaughters. She was talented at sewing.

Chadwena is survived by her husband of 34 years, Robert; children, Cindy Wilguess and her husband Mark, Kenny Naugle and his wife Michelle, Jon Naugle, Robert Alan Bartlett and his wife Laura, Nate Bartlett and his wife Stephanie, Becky Lingg, David Bartlett, Mary Jo Reed, and Raymond Bartlett; grandchildren, Chris (Sarah) Wilguess, Jason Wilguess, Chad Wilguess, Angel Hollingsworth and her husband Ray, Kristin Naugle, Justin Bartlett, Haley Bartlett, Ian Bartlett, Katie Bartlett, Athena Turner, Jacob Naugle-Kates, Brandi Reed, Kayla Reed, Andrew Morgan, Dylan Morgan, and Sydney Morgan; great-grandchildren, Chloe Wilguess, Clayton Wilguess and Bailey Wallace; and a brother, Robert Stewart and his wife Norma.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Amanda Bartlett.

Visitation will be held from 4 until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 27 at Roselawn Funeral Home with an Order of the Eastern Star service at 7 p.m. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 28 at the funeral home with Reverend Don Rissler officiating.
