David James Hillman, 71, of Terre Haute passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday, May 18, 2016. David was born on September 29, 1944 to Freddie and Doris Hillman in Terre Haute. He proudly served his beloved country in the Air Force. David married the love of his life, Beverly, whom he spent 47 wonderful years with. David was a mechanic, a carpenter, and an avid gun and model train enthusiast. He was a big Harley Davidson fan.
David is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Beverly; his sister, Linda; and several nieces and nephews.
His family would like to give a special thanks to all the hospice nurses who took great care of David before his passing.
A visitation will be held in David’s honor at Roselawn Funeral Home on Friday, May 20th from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm with a funeral service following at 2:00pm. Reverend Larry Lilly will be officiating. David will be placed to rest at Roselawn Memorial Park.
