Donald was born on May 8, 1933 in Terre Haute, the son of the Rev. G. Glenn and Fern R. (Burns) Perkins. He was united in marriage to his loving wife of over forty years, the former Karen S. Page on September 4, 1969. He worked for several years as a fork truck driver at J.I. Case and enjoyed riding motorcycles and spending time in his yard.
In addition to his loving wife, Karen, Don leaves behind his son, Kevin G. Perkins of Tucson, AZ; brothers, Jim and wife Bobbie of Georgetown, TX., Marvin and wife Sharon of Hilliard, FL., and Gary and wife Beverly of Montgomery, TX, and his sister Betty Malz of Clearwater, FL. Donald is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and several cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Gene; niece, Brenda (Upchurch) Smart and also a brother-in-law, Johnny Upchurch.
Cremation will take place with private burial following in Roselawn Memorial Park.
