My family would like to extend our sympathy to Edith's family and friends. Little Summer said Meme will probably be in heaven waiting to give her a hug. She gave a lot of pleasure to Mindy, Summer and me with sweet tea at her house and coffee at mine. She was a sweetheart. We have missed her greatly since she hasn't been well.

I was only 6 years old when our family moved to the farm. I met our neighbors the Pounds and her close friend Leroy Manuel. I can't remember many details but clearly after all these years her kindness to me and family is forever etched in my memory. I also want to mention her friend Leroy and his family and how kind he was to the Bill Roach family. Thank you Mrs. Pounds may you rest in peace. Kathy Roach Hamblin
