

Edward proudly served his country in the Army during World War II. Later on in life, he joined the American Legion Post 104. He retired from Adam’s Pontiac as a mechanic after many years of service.
In his spare time, Edward loved fishing and working on cars. He also enjoyed playing horseshoes and traveling.
He was a loving, caring father and a hard worker.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Elsie; parents; son-in-law, Danny Thomas; grandson-in-law, Terry Bruner; sister, Betty Konasezki; brothers, Marvin and Larry Elmore; and a brother at infancy.
He is survived by his children, Keith Elmore, Judy (Ted) Zolkowski, Debra Thomas, Kathy Martelli, and Holly Hudson; his sister Donna Elder and brothers Bill and Donald Elmore; grandchildren, Michael Whitsit Jr., Danny Thomas Jr., Ami Whitsit husband John, Douglas Thomas and wife Christina, Jennifer Metzger and husband John, Cherie Atkinson and husband Jack, Amanda Bruner, James Hudson and wife Ashley; several great grandchildren,great great grandchildren,and several nieces, and nephews.
A funeral service will be held in Edward’s honor on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home. A visitation will be held prior from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. Officiating will be Rev.Mark Fleschner.
