

Ernest Edward “Skip” Williamson, 65, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2026, peacefully at home in the care of his wife and daughter. Skip was born on August 20, 1960, in Waterloo, Iowa to John and Delores (Schmocker) Williamson. He was part of a large family that included thirteen brothers and sisters: Chris Stewart, Dave Williamson, John Williamson, Jim Williamson, Deb Mcdermott, Joseph Williamson, Carol Johnson, Mike Williamson, Mary Chenowith, Dennis Williamson, Gayle Horn and Brian Williamson.
Skip was a dear and loving man. For him, life was simple, take care of Judy and if it made her happy, it made him happy. His daily life consisted of his loving dogs, stopping by “the house” to see his sister-in-law Betty and make her a cup of coffee, and having a smoke on the porch. Skip enjoyed spending time with his nephews, Nathan and Johnny, where they could often be found sealcoating a driveway or working on campers. He will be missed dearly!
Skip is survived by his wife of thirty-eight years, Judy Williamson; his daughter and son-in-law, Allison and Melvin Fain of Miami, Oklahoma; Grandchildren: Gypsy Fain (Robert) of Miami, Oklahoma, Starlett Fain of Wyandotte, Oklahoma, Mariah Brooks (Fred) of Seneca, Missouri, Melvin Fain Jr of Miami, Oklahoma; three great-grandchildren: Nevaeh, Robert Jr and Nova; sister-in-law Betty Allison and numerous nieces and nephews and a large extended family.
Memorial services for Skip will be on Wednesday February 11, 2026, at Roselawn Funeral Home at 3:00pm. Visitation will take place at the funeral home from 2:00pm until service time.
